Recommendations for Public Finance and Social Accountability for Human Capital – a discussion of the 2018 GPSA Global Partners Forum Statement

January 15, 2019, 9:00 am EST

About the Webinar

At the 2018 GPSA Global Partners Forum, discussions centered on the need to link the closing of the Human Capital gap with closing the so-called ‘accountability gap’. Through several working sessions, and culminating in the Forum’s final ‘listening panel’ discussion with World Bank leadership, participants drew up a set of concrete recommendations. In this webinar, join us for a discussion of these recommendations, as captured in the draft GPSA Forum 2018 Statement. The GPSA Secretariat, the International Budget Partnership and the World Bank’s Human Capital Project will present the draft, and you will have a chance to ask questions, share feedback, and help finalize the Statement as a concrete outcome of the Forum.

Ahead of the webinar, we invite you to read the draft of the GPSA 2018 Global Partners Forum Statement. You can also view recordings, takeaways and other materials from the Forum, and continue the discussion online here.

About the speakers

For this webinar, we will be accompanied by speakers from the Global Partnership for Social Accountability, Human Capital Project at the World Bank and International Budget Partnership.
