My names are Ibrahim Ayuba K.
Am a Ph.D research candidate in finance and banking. I have come to the conclusion that crowd sourcing is a powerful tool, with value embedded that scale up the voice in citizens engagement. The fact, still remains that ample citizens are ready to provide government and at various level ideas, policy and programs on virtually any aspect of governance for free provided government is willing to appreciate and implement. Meanwhile, lately some government are beginning to initiate, encourage and replicate this model in developing countries.

However, there is the need to propagate and popularize it as a critical aspect in the decision making process within the framework of citizens engagement and introducing incentives as a means of increasing the participation and improving the of ideas, policy creation and quality.

This will, help to encourage the society to be part of the solution and a further process of increasing a robust government reservoir of ideas and programs. In another development, it build a sense of belonging and ownership in governance and therefore, making for room for innovation and resilience in the society.
