About the Webinar

GlobalStandard_OverviewFor CSOs pushing for governments to be more open, transparent and participative, it is especially important to “walk the talk” and promote these ideals in their own work. Accountable Now and Development Network of Indigenous Voluntary Associations (DENIVA) will present the Global Standard for CSO Accountability as a practical tool for CSOs to think about and strengthen their own accountability practices in a holistic and dynamic way. Throughout the conversations, they will focus on common challenges as well as good practices.

The webinar will aim to answer the following:

  • – Why must CSOs be accountable? How does it help them advance social accountability?
  • – What is people-driven CSO accountability? What are its key aspects?
  • – What is the Global Standard for CSO Accountability? How does it promote people-driven accountability?
  • – What are some challenges when using it? How could they be overcome?
